The MG DURAVENT 46DVA-VSS is an aluminum direct vent vinyl standoff designed to protect temperature-sensitive exterior wall materials during horizontal direct vent terminations. It acts as a heat shield between the vent cap and the wall surface, preventing heat damage to vinyl siding and similar materials. The standoff is sized to work with the Square Horizontal Cap configuration on 4 by 6-5/8 inch direct vent pipe systems. Licensed HVAC technicians install this component as part of a compliant horizontal termination assembly on gas appliances such as boilers, furnaces, and water heaters.

This standoff is intended for horizontal direct vent terminations only. It is particularly suited for installations on vinyl siding and other heat-sensitive cladding, as well as irregular surfaced siding such as ship lap.
