Product Description

The Mersen R262 200 To 60 Amp Fuse Reducer is designed to allow the use of lower-rated fuses in equipment that has clips rated for higher amperages. This helps to improve circuit protection through the use of closer rated time-delay fuses. For instance, one-time or renewable fuses feeding a motor can be replaced with fuses that are sized closer to the motor's nameplate current. Non-rejection reducers permit Class H, K, or R fuses to fit Class H or K clips, while rejection types only allow Class R fuses to fit Class R clips or Class J fuses to fit Class J clips. Note that Class J fuse reducers are not suitable for bolt-on applications.
