The MERIT BRASS 3411HD-02 is a 1/8 inch female NPT (FNPT) threaded pipe half coupling machined from 304/304L stainless steel. A half coupling is a short-run fitting used to branch off a pipe or cap a pipe end with a threaded female connection on one side. Rated to 3,000 psi, this fitting is suited for high-pressure fluid and gas piping systems where corrosion resistance and strength are required. Plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial service technicians install this type of coupling in process piping, compressed air lines, steam headers, and similar threaded pipe assemblies.
