The MERIT ABRASIVES 69957399635 is a 1-1/2 inch diameter quick-change coated abrasive disc designed for use with Power-Lock Type 2 (TS/Type II) attachment systems. It features 240 grit aluminum oxide abrasive on a rigid X-weight 2-ply polyester backing, rated to 30,000 RPM. The very fine grit and durable construction make it suited for deburring, surface cleaning, and detailing work on a range of metals. It is installed and operated by metalworking and fabrication professionals using handheld disc sanders.

This disc is designed for use on 300 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, hard carbon steels, soft carbon steels, and titanium. It is compatible with handheld disc sanders equipped with a Type S or TS (Type II) quick-change attachment system. The 240 very fine grit makes it appropriate for finishing passes, light deburring, and surface detailing where a finer surface finish is required rather than aggressive material removal.
