The MERIT ABRASIVES 66623340040 is a 4-inch quick-change abrasive disc built for surface conditioning and finishing on metal and composite materials. It uses aluminum oxide grain on a flexible non-woven polyester and nylon web backing, rated to a maximum of 15,000 RPM. The Type S attaching system allows fast disc swaps without additional hardware. Medium grade makes it suited for moderate material removal, blending, and surface prep. This disc is installed and used by metal fabricators, maintenance techs, and industrial tradespeople working on grinders and handheld disc sanders.

This disc is designed for use on 300 and 400 series stainless steel, hard and soft carbon steels, tool steels, super alloys, titanium, and fiberglass and composite materials.
