The MERIT ABRASIVES 08834162910 is a 3-inch non-woven aluminum oxide quick-change disc designed for surface finishing, blending, and light material removal on metal and composite substrates. It uses a Power-Lock Type S (TS / Type II) attaching system for fast, tool-free disc changes on compatible rotary tools. The disc runs at up to 20,000 RPM and is rated medium grade. A flexible polyester and nylon web backing conforms to contoured surfaces, making it well suited for detail work and surface prep in fabrication and maintenance applications. This disc ships as a single unit with a minimum order quantity of 25 pieces.

Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by pressing the disc onto a compatible Type S quick-change mandrel until it seats and locks. Confirm the mandrel and tool RPM rating meets or exceeds the 20,000 RPM disc rating before use. Disconnect or power down the tool before mounting or removing any abrasive disc. Inspect the disc for damage prior to each use and do not use a disc that shows tears, fraying, or distortion.
