The Mepco float and thermostatic (F&T) high capacity steam trap, model SA30-815, features a two-inch trap connection in a same-side configuration. This model allows steam to enter from either side of the trap, with condensate discharging from either the opposite or the same side. The 30 Series F&T traps provide continuous drainage and are suitable for low, medium, and high-pressure steam mains. The trap includes stainless steel internal parts for durability. The SA30-815 is made from cast iron and operates at a maximum pressure of fifteen psi. It can handle up to twenty-four thousand pounds per hour of capacity. These traps are effective for service on heat exchange equipment requiring rapid air venting and removal of non-condensable gases.
