The MECHANIX WEAR WS-REG-009 is a medium-sized welding glove built for hand protection in high-heat welding environments. The glove shell combines leather, synthetic leather, and Kevlar for cut and heat resistance. The lining is FR treated cotton blended with Kevlar, adding a secondary layer of thermal and flame protection. At approximately 12 inches in length and 4 inches in width, the glove provides forearm coverage suitable for MIG, TIG, and stick welding operations. Welders, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians performing brazing or torch work rely on this type of glove to meet basic hand and wrist protection requirements on the job.
This glove is suited for residential and commercial trade applications where open flame, spatter, or radiant heat is present. Typical use cases include structural welding, HVAC brazing, pipe welding, and maintenance welding in industrial or field settings. The medium sizing fits a broad range of hand profiles and is appropriate for general-duty welding tasks requiring dexterity without sacrificing protection. Sold individually as a single pair per package.
Designed as a general-duty welding glove suitable for MIG, stick, and brazing applications where leather and Kevlar hand protection is required.
Welding gloves should be inspected before each use for worn seams, holes, or degraded liner material that could reduce protection. Replace gloves immediately if the shell or lining shows burn-through, cracking, or significant stiffening. Follow your facility or jobsite PPE requirements and applicable ANSI or AWS safety standards when selecting and using hand protection for welding operations.
