The MECHANIX WEAR S2EC-03-009 is an ANSI Cut Level A7 cut-resistant glove built for trade professionals who work with sharp materials, sheet metal, glass, or demolition debris. Constructed from an 18-gauge HPPE and tungsten steel blend shell, the glove delivers serious cut protection without sacrificing dexterity. A urethane dip coating covers the palm and fingertips for grip and abrasion resistance, rated ANSI Abrasion Level 4. The seamless HPPE blend lining reduces interior irritation during extended wear. This is a sold-as-pair listing in size Large.
The S2EC-03-009 is suited for HVAC sheet metal work, mechanical assembly, electrical rough-in, plumbing rough-in, and general construction tasks where cut hazards are present. The smooth grip surface and palm-only coating preserve tactile feedback, making the glove practical for handling fittings, conduit, and fasteners. It also carries an EN 388 rating of 4X42F, meeting both North American ANSI/ISEA and European EN 388 standards. The machine-washable construction supports job-site reuse.
Designed as a general-purpose cut-resistant glove for trade professionals. Size Large corresponds to a women's Medium per the manufacturer sizing chart. Sold as a pair.
Cut-resistant gloves should be inspected before each use for tears, coating separation, or worn-through fabric that may reduce protection. Replace gloves immediately if the shell or coating shows damage. Follow your employer's PPE program and applicable OSHA hand-protection requirements when selecting gloves for specific cut-hazard levels.
