The MECHANIX WEAR MCMG-X91-008 is a full-fingered, utility-style work glove rated for the most demanding cut and puncture hazards in the field. Built with a synthetic leather palm and ArmorCore construction throughout the back, lining, and cuff, these gloves meet ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A9 — the highest cut rating in the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard. They also carry an ANSI Puncture Resistance Level 4 and ANSI Abrasion Resistance Level 3, making them a dependable choice when working around sharp edges, metal components, conduit, copper tubing, or glass fiber insulation. A hook-and-loop cuff closure and padded palm round out the build for a secure, comfortable fit during extended use.
These gloves are suited for trade professionals working in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical contracting, and general construction environments where high cut and puncture exposure is routine. The small size corresponds to a men's numeric size 8 and a women's numeric size 7, covering technicians who need a fitted, dexterous glove without sacrificing protection. The touchscreen-capable fingertips allow use of mobile devices and digital controls without removing the gloves. The fluorescent yellow and black colorway improves visibility on busy job sites. These are sold as a pair.
Designed as a general-purpose high-cut-resistance utility glove for trade professionals requiring ANSI A9-rated hand protection across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical contracting applications.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or degraded material that could compromise protection. Always power down equipment and shut off supply lines before beginning service work, even when wearing cut-resistant gloves — PPE does not substitute for proper lockout/tagout procedures. Replace gloves when visible wear or damage is present on the palm, fingers, or cuff closure.
