The MCR Safety S2212 is a frameless safety eyewear unit designed for eye protection in industrial, construction, and trade environments. Featuring gray polycarbonate lenses with a scratch-resistant coating, these glasses block UV radiation and provide a wide field of view through a wrap-around frame design. The temples are chrome-colored and non-adjustable, sized for a small fit. A breakaway cord is included for retention. These glasses meet ANSI Z87.1+ standards, making them appropriate for use on job sites where impact-rated eye protection is required by code or employer policy.
The S2212 is suited for general-purpose eye protection across a range of trades, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and light construction. The tinted gray lenses are well-suited for outdoor work or environments with bright ambient light. The integrated side shield design provides additional lateral coverage. The lightweight frameless construction and wrap-around profile keep the glasses stable during active work. Licensed tradespeople and service technicians who carry their own PPE will find these appropriate for daily site use.
Designed as a general-purpose safety eyewear solution for trade and industrial applications requiring ANSI Z87.1+ compliant eye protection.
No tools or installation are required. Inspect the lenses for cracks or deep scratches before each use, as damaged lenses may not meet protective standards. Replace the glasses if the lenses or frame show signs of impact damage or significant abrasion. Follow OSHA 29 CFR 1910.133 and any applicable employer eye protection programs when selecting and using safety eyewear on the job site.
