The MCR SAFETY PD43612XXL is a driver-style work glove rated ANSI Cut A9 and ANSI Puncture 5, placing it among the most protective cut- and puncture-resistant gloves available for industrial trade use. The palm and cuff are constructed from goatskin leather, delivering tactile feedback and durability. A Kevlar lining adds cut resistance throughout the glove, while a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) back panel absorbs impact. The reinforced thumb crotch addresses one of the most common failure points in driver-style gloves. ANSI Abrasion Level 4 rating rounds out the protection profile. This glove is worn by electricians, pipefitters, ironworkers, and general maintenance techs working in environments with sharp edges, puncture hazards, or abrasive surfaces.
The PD43612XXL fits size X-Large and 2X-Large hands in both mens and womens sizing. It is suited for heavy industrial applications including sheet metal handling, pipe fitting, structural steel work, and equipment maintenance where simultaneous cut, puncture, and abrasion hazards are present. The slip-on cuff style allows quick donning and doffing during active job-site work. The driver-style cut leaves the back of the hand partially exposed for ventilation and dexterity. Color is orange on the back panel and white on the palm side.
Designed as a general-purpose cut, puncture, and abrasion-resistant driver glove for trade and industrial use in size X-Large and 2X-Large. Part of the MCR SAFETY PD43612 series.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, punctures, or separation at seams -- damaged gloves must be replaced before work begins. High cut-resistance ratings do not confer cut-proof protection; select gloves appropriate to the specific hazard level as part of a complete PPE assessment. Follow jobsite PPE protocols and applicable OSHA hand protection requirements (29 CFR 1910.138) when specifying gloves for the task. Store away from direct sunlight and solvents to preserve leather and Kevlar lining integrity.
