The MCR Safety N9691XXL is a cold-weather, cut-resistant work glove built on a 15-gauge HyperMax shell with a PVC coating on the palm and fingertips. It carries an ANSI/ISEA Cut Resistance Level A4 rating under ANSI 105:2020, making it suitable for handling sharp sheet metal, glass, and formed components common in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical trades. The acrylic terry lining provides insulation against cold while still allowing airflow to manage moisture. The textured PVC grip surface maintains control on oily or wet surfaces. Sized 2X-Large, this glove ships as a paired set.
These gloves are intended for trade professionals working in cold or low-temperature environments where cut hazards are present. Typical applications include handling sheet metal ductwork, copper pipe bundles, conduit edges, and glass-lined components. The knit cuff creates a close wrist seal to reduce debris entry. The seamless acrylic terry lining avoids interior seam pressure points during extended wear. Well-suited for outdoor mechanical work in fall and winter conditions, or refrigerated facility maintenance where hand protection from both cuts and cold is required.
Designed as a general-purpose cut-resistant work glove for trade professionals requiring ANSI A4 cut protection in cold-weather or low-temperature work environments. Part of the MCR Safety N9691 series.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that would reduce protection. Do not use these gloves near rotating machinery or open flame, as the knit cuff and coated shell are not rated for those hazards. Replace immediately if the coating shows cracking or delamination. Follow your employer safety program and applicable OSHA hand protection requirements when selecting and using cut-resistant PPE.
