The MCR SAFETY 9672DT2M is an 18-gauge cut resistant glove built on a DSM Dyneema Diamond Technology shell with a gray polyurethane (PU) palm and forefinger coating. Dyneema is a high modulus polyethylene (HMPE) fiber rated 15 times stronger than surgical steel, delivering reliable cut resistance and abrasion resistance without sacrificing dexterity or comfort. The breathable shell construction keeps hand fatigue low during extended wear. This glove is sized Medium and sold as a pair, making it a practical daily-wear option for trade and industrial environments where hand protection against cutting hazards is required.
The 9672DT2M is suited for applications where workers handle sharp materials, sheet metal, glass, tubing, or fabricated components. The PU palm and forefinger coating provides grip on dry and lightly oily surfaces. The color-coded hem allows quick size identification when managing multiple glove sizes across a crew. Typical users include HVAC technicians handling sheet metal ductwork, plumbers working with cut pipe ends, electricians managing conduit and wire trays, and light manufacturing personnel dealing with sharp-edged parts on a regular basis.
Designed as a general-purpose cut resistant glove for trade and industrial use where ANSI-rated hand protection against cut hazards is required.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, coating separation, or wear-through that may compromise cut protection. Replace gloves when the shell or coating shows visible degradation. Follow your site or employer PPE program guidelines for glove selection, inspection intervals, and disposal. Do not assume cut resistance is absolute — always use appropriate material-handling tools alongside PPE.
