The MCR Safety 9662SM is a small-size general-purpose work glove built on a 7-gauge shell knit from 70% cotton and 30% polyester. Black PVC dots are applied to both the palm side and the back of the glove, increasing grip and abrasion resistance compared to a plain knit shell. The natural gray shell with color-coded hem allows quick size identification on a workbench or in a tool crib. These gloves are sold by the pair and are a common choice for light material handling, assembly, and warehouse tasks where bare-hand dexterity is not required.
The 9662SM is suited for residential and commercial applications involving repetitive hand contact with parts, packaging, or rough surfaces. Typical install or service scenarios include light-duty assembly, parts handling, maintenance tasks, and general trade work where a lightweight knit glove provides adequate protection without sacrificing feel. The two-sided PVC dot pattern makes them usable whether the glove is flipped or the work requires dorsal-side grip.
Designed as a small-size knit work glove suitable for general light-duty hand protection across trade, maintenance, and assembly applications.
These gloves are a consumable PPE item requiring no installation. Inspect each pair before use and discard any glove showing torn knit, missing PVC dots, or degraded elasticity. Follow the site or employer PPE policy for replacement intervals. Do not use as a substitute for cut-resistant, chemical-resistant, or electrical-insulating gloves where those hazards are present.
