The MCR SAFETY 9432GFR is an extra heavy-weight heat resistant glove designed for industrial and trade applications involving extreme heat exposure. Constructed from 32 oz. brown and white loop-out terry cloth, the glove features a 5 inch gauntlet cuff and a fully quilted interior backed by a 10 oz. jersey lining. An inset thumb design improves fit and dexterity during handling tasks. The material is treated for limited flammability, making it suitable for use around open flame and high-radiant-heat environments. This glove is sold as a pair and is reversible for extended service life.
The 9432GFR is part of the MCR Hotline series, a product line built specifically for handling extreme heat. It is well suited for use in foundries, glass handling, metal fabrication, and similar industrial environments where standard gloves fall short. Maintenance technicians, furnace operators, and welding support personnel working around high-temperature surfaces will find the heavy construction appropriate for sustained radiant and contact heat tasks. The 5 inch gauntlet cuff provides additional wrist and lower forearm protection during reach-in work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-issue heat protection glove for industrial environments requiring extreme heat handling capability, sold in pairs with a minimum order quantity of 12 pairs.
Inspection before each use is recommended — check for worn quilting, thin spots, or compromised terry loops that could reduce thermal protection. Always power down or shut off heat sources before donning or removing gloves where practical. Gloves should be stored away from sharp objects and chemical exposure that could degrade the terry cloth or lining. Follow your facility safety program and applicable OSHA standards for PPE selection and use.
