The MCR SAFETY 92793PUM is a knit-shell work glove engineered for high-exposure cut, puncture, and abrasion hazards in industrial and trade environments. The 13-gauge HyperMax shell achieves ANSI/ISEA 105:2020 Cut Level A6 and ANSI/ISEA 105:2016 Puncture Level 4 and Abrasion Level 4 ratings. A polyurethane (PU) coating covers the palm and fingertips with a smooth grip surface, improving object retention in light-duty wet or oily conditions. The dark blue shell color helps conceal dirt and grime during extended use. Electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, and general mechanical tradespeople are the primary users of this glove style.
This glove is suited for residential and commercial trade applications where sharp-edge and puncture hazards are present, including conduit handling, pipe fitting, sheet metal work, and mechanical assembly. The seamless HyperMax lining maintains dexterity at 13-gauge construction, making it practical for tasks requiring hand feel and grip. Touchscreen-compatible palm material allows use of devices without glove removal. This SKU covers the Medium size and is sold as a single pair. MCR SAFETY formerly marketed this series under the Memphis Glove brand. The series designation is 92793PU.
Designed as a general-purpose cut and puncture resistant work glove for trade professionals in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pipefitting, and mechanical assembly applications requiring ANSI A6 cut protection in a medium size.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, coating separation, or compromised shell integrity. Worn or damaged gloves should be removed from service immediately, as coating degradation reduces grip and protective ratings. This glove is not rated as a blood-borne pathogen barrier and is not static dissipative — select appropriate glove types for those specific hazard categories. Glove selection should comply with the applicable job-site PPE program and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138 hand protection requirements.
