The MCR SAFETY 9273SPUM is a cut-resistant work glove built for trade and industrial environments where hand protection against sharp materials is a daily requirement. Rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A9 and Puncture Level 3, this glove uses a 13-gauge HyperMax HPPE blend shell with a polyurethane palm coating to deliver high-level cut resistance alongside reliable grip and dexterity. The sandy grip surface improves control on oily or wet parts. At 10 inches in overall length with a 4-inch knit cuff, the glove covers the wrist while allowing free hand movement. This pair is FDA accepted and touchscreen compatible, making it suitable for inspection tasks as well as hands-on cutting, handling, and assembly work.
The 9273SPUM is designed for medium-duty to heavy-duty applications where ANSI A9 cut protection is specified. Typical uses include metal fabrication, glass handling, sheet metal work, and similar tasks where contact with sharp edges is frequent. The polyurethane palm coat maintains tactile sensitivity while protecting the palm from abrasion, rated ANSI Abrasion Level 4. The unlined construction keeps the fit close and breathable during extended wear. This glove is appropriate for use in manufacturing, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general trade environments where cut hazards are present.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-issue cut-resistant glove for medium-size hands in trade and industrial applications requiring ANSI A9 cut protection.
Cut-resistant gloves should be inspected before each use for tears, coating separation, or wear through the shell material. Damaged gloves must be replaced before work begins. These gloves do not provide chemical resistance or electrical arc protection and should not be used as a substitute for task-specific PPE where those hazards are present. Follow your facility safety program and applicable OSHA PPE requirements when selecting and using hand protection.
