The MCR SAFETY 1418A is a cowhide leather palm work glove designed for trade and industrial professionals who handle rough materials on the job. Built with A-select shoulder split leather on the palm and a full leather back, this glove delivers solid cut and abrasion resistance against pipes, structural metal, lumber, and similar materials. The 4.5-inch plasticized gauntlet cuff extends wrist coverage and is construction-friendly for repeated laundering. Color-coded hems make size identification fast during tool crib or vending machine pulls. Sold as a pair.
The 1418A is suited for general construction, ironwork, pipefitting, rough carpentry, and similar trades where hand protection from abrasion, splinters, and sharp edges is a daily requirement. The full leather back adds coverage beyond palm-only designs, making it appropriate for tasks where the back of the hand contacts materials or surfaces. Blue and yellow striped fabric reinforces the cuff area and aids sizing identification in high-volume work environments.
Designed as an OEM-style general-purpose leather work glove suitable for construction, pipefitting, ironwork, and rough carpentry applications requiring palm and back-of-hand abrasion protection.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or leather separation that could compromise protection. Replace immediately if structural integrity is compromised. Laundering is supported by the plasticized gauntlet cuff; follow standard industrial glove care practices. These gloves do not provide electrical hazard protection and should not be used as a substitute for rated electrical PPE.
