The MASTER BRAND 10036 is an oil-based, low-VOC interior primer, sealer, and stainblocker formulated to stop severe stains from bonding through to the finish coat. It handles water stains, smoke, tannin, ink, pencil, felt marker, and grease while also sealing pet, food, and smoke odors into the substrate. The 1-gallon unit covers typical residential and light commercial interior surfaces and is compatible as an undercoat for both latex and oil-based topcoats. It dries to touch in 30 minutes and is ready to topcoat in 1 hour, keeping projects on schedule.

This primer is suited for interior applications on new or existing surfaces that present heavy staining, odor contamination, or high porosity. Applicable surfaces include wood, drywall, plaster, paneling, wallpaper, masonry, brick, painted metal, and properly prepared glossy surfaces.
