The MARSHALLTOWN 13296 is a finish trowel designed to produce smooth, flat surfaces on concrete flatwork and masonry applications. The blade measures 14 inches in length by 4 inches in width and is made from polished steel for consistent glide and edge retention across wet concrete. An aluminum mounting connects the blade to a curved handle engineered for comfort during extended finishing passes. This trowel is used by concrete finishers, masons, and flatwork contractors on both residential slabs and commercial decks.
The 13296 is suited for finish-coat work on concrete floors, sidewalks, driveways, patios, and similar flatwork. It performs the final smoothing and densifying passes after the bull-float and darby stages, once bleed water has receded and the surface is firm enough to bear weight without sinking. The curved handle reduces wrist fatigue during repetitive troweling motions, making it practical for larger pours requiring multiple finish passes.
Designed as a standard finish trowel for use on fresh concrete and cementitious surfaces requiring a smooth, dense finish coat.
Used by concrete finishers and masonry tradespeople during the finish stage of flatwork pours. Ensure the concrete surface has reached the correct set stage before beginning finish troweling — premature use will pull aggregate and compromise surface quality. Clean the blade thoroughly with water immediately after use to prevent concrete buildup and corrosion. Store flat or hang to preserve blade straightness.
