The MARSHALLTOWN 10754 is a coarse sponge rubber float designed for applying and finishing rough or textured surfaces. It features a sponge rubber pad cemented to an aluminum backing plate, paired with a smooth handle for consistent grip during use. The pad measures 9 inches long by 4 inches wide and 5/8 inches thick, making it well-suited for masonry, stucco, and concrete flatwork where a coarse texture is the target finish. Masons, plasterers, and tile setters rely on this type of float to bring aggregate to the surface or to create uniform texture patterns on wall and slab applications.
This float is used in residential and light commercial finishing work where rough or textured surface profiles are required. Common applications include stucco finishing, concrete slab texturing, and mortar bed leveling. The coarse sponge material pulls aggregate and creates an open texture that coarser finish specs call for. It is packaged as a single unit and is a standard hand tool in masonry and plastering kits.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use hand float compatible with standard masonry, stucco, and concrete finishing applications requiring a coarse sponge rubber pad.
This tool is used by masons, plasterers, and concrete finishers as part of surface finishing work. No power source is required. Keep the sponge pad clean and free of hardened material between uses to maintain consistent surface contact. Rinse thoroughly with water after each use and store flat to prevent pad deformation.
