The MARS 19166 is a potential relay designed for HVAC applications using single-phase motors with start capacitors. This MARS 166 series relay uses the voltage generated by the motor start winding to control the start capacitor. As the motor reaches operating speed and the start-winding voltage rises to the pickup range, the relay opens the contacts and disconnects the start capacitor from the circuit. The relay features a non-positional design and a universal break-off mounting bracket for flexible installation.
