The MAJESTIC bldv500nscsl is a 42-inch top-vent, clean-face direct vent gas fireplace rated at 27,000 BTU/h on natural gas. It uses a sealed combustion chamber that draws outside air for combustion and exhausts flue gases through a coaxial vent system, keeping indoor air quality unaffected. The clean-face design eliminates a visible front grille, producing a flush, finished appearance in the firebox opening. Control is handled by the Signature Command system, which provides electronic management of burner operation. Licensed HVAC technicians and fireplace installers are the primary trades for this unit.
This fireplace is suited for residential installations where a top-vent direct vent configuration is required. The 42-inch firebox size fits standard framed chase or masonry opening builds in living rooms, family rooms, and master suites. The natural gas fuel supply makes it appropriate for homes with existing gas service. The clean-face front works well in contemporary and transitional interior designs where an unobstructed firebox view is a priority. Top-vent routing allows flexibility in wall placement where a rear-exit vent path is not practical.
Designed as an OEM direct vent gas fireplace unit for residential natural gas applications requiring a 42-inch top-vent clean-face configuration.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or qualified fireplace installer in accordance with the National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) and all applicable local codes. Shut off the gas supply at the main valve and disconnect electrical power before beginning any service or installation work. The coaxial direct vent system must be installed per the manufacturer clearance and termination requirements — do not mix vent components from other manufacturers. A carbon monoxide detector should be present in the room per local code requirements.
