The MAGNAFLUX 01-9130-35 is a 14A Redi-Bath water-based fluorescent magnetic particle concentrate used in wet magnetic particle inspection (MPI) procedures. It mixes with water to form a bath suspension that is applied to ferromagnetic parts during MPI testing. When excited by ultraviolet (UV-A) light, the fluorescent particles gather at discontinuities and surface flaws, making cracks, seams, and other defects visible to the inspector. Each case contains four 1-gallon containers. This product is used by NDT technicians and quality control personnel in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and heavy equipment maintenance environments.
This concentrate is intended for use in wet horizontal magnetic particle inspection equipment where a recirculating bath is maintained. It is suited for inspecting welds, castings, forgings, and machined components for surface and near-surface defects. The water-based formulation is compatible with standard recirculating MPI bath systems. Inspectors working to ASTM E1444, ASME, or aerospace NDT specifications will recognize this as a standard fluorescent wet particle product.
Designed for use in wet horizontal magnetic particle inspection systems that accept water-based fluorescent bath concentrates.
Mixing, bath concentration, and inspection procedures must follow the applicable NDT specification in use, such as ASTM E1444 or the relevant customer or regulatory standard. Bath concentration should be verified by centrifuge tube settlement testing per the governing procedure before placing the bath into service. This product is handled by certified NDT Level II or Level III technicians. Review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use and follow all applicable handling and disposal regulations for water-based fluorescent particle materials.
