The MACOMB GROUP APPROVED 1829-210 is a Schedule 80 CPVC reducing coupling designed for joining 1-1/2 inch pipe to 3/4 inch pipe using a slip socket weld connection. Manufactured from Corzan CPVC and molded to meet ASTM D1784 Type IV Grade I Cell Class 23447 and ASTM F439 standards, this coupling is rated for service up to 210 degrees F. It carries NSF/ANSI Standard 14 and 61 Annex G listings, making it appropriate for potable water and chemical process piping where elevated temperature and pressure resistance are required. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in pressure-rated thermoplastic piping systems.
