The MACOMB GROUP APPROVED 1200100080CSCRI is a welded carbon steel concentric reducer designed for industrial piping systems requiring a transition from a 12-inch nominal pipe to a 10-inch nominal pipe. Built to Extra Strong (XS) / Schedule 80 wall thickness, this reducer handles the elevated pressure and mechanical demands common in oil and gas, chemical processing, and heavy industrial applications. Outside diameters measure 12-3/4 inches on the large end and 10-3/4 inches on the small end, with an overall length of 8 inches. Compliance with NACE MR0175, NACE MR0103, and ISO 15156-2 makes it suitable for sour service environments where hydrogen sulfide exposure is a concern.
This concentric reducer is intended for straight-run pipe transitions in industrial and commercial piping systems where the pipe centerline must remain aligned through the reduction. Typical installations include process piping, refinery headers, pump suction and discharge lines, and similar high-pressure fluid transport applications. The welded construction provides a continuous, uniform wall profile suited to demanding service conditions. This component is sourced as an import product.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for industrial carbon steel piping systems using 12-inch to 10-inch nominal pipe in XS / Schedule 80 wall thickness configurations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or industrial piping professional in accordance with applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping. Isolate and fully depressurize the line before cutting or fitting. Verify weld joint preparation and fit-up per applicable welding procedure specifications before making final welds. Confirm sour service compliance requirements with the project engineer prior to installation in NACE-classified environments.
