The MA-LINE ma-im24 is a telescoping inspection mirror with two built-in LED lights, designed for visual access in tight or hard-to-reach spaces during service, inspection, and installation work. The rectangular mirror head measures 2 x 3.25 inches and extends on a telescopic handle to a maximum length of 34.5 inches, giving technicians a wide range of reach without repositioning. The integrated LEDs illuminate dark cavities, making it practical for duct interiors, wall cavities, panel enclosures, and behind equipment where ambient light is limited. It is a standard hand tool for HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and other trade professionals who need to inspect areas that are not in direct line of sight.
This inspection mirror is suited for residential and light commercial service work across multiple trades. HVAC techs use it to inspect heat exchangers, flue connections, and duct joints. Plumbers use it to check fitting alignments and drain lines in confined spaces. Electricians use it to inspect panel interiors, junction boxes, and conduit runs. The telescoping shaft allows single-hand operation while the other hand holds a flashlight or tool, and the LED illumination reduces the need for a separate light source during routine inspections.
General-purpose hand tool suitable for use across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related service trades requiring visual inspection in confined or obstructed areas.
No installation is required for this hand tool. Before using the mirror near energized electrical panels or live circuits, confirm power is de-energized in accordance with NFPA 70E lockout/tagout procedures. Extend and retract the telescopic shaft smoothly to avoid stress on the mirror head joint. Keep the mirror lens clean for accurate reflection during inspection work.
