The M.A. FORD. 67150002 is a single-end, zero-flute countersink designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations on a wide range of materials. Built from high-speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, it features a 1-1/2 inch head diameter and an 82-degree included angle, making it well-suited for standard fastener-head seating in both production and maintenance environments. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 1/2 inch in diameter and the tool runs 3-1/2 inches overall in length. A zero-flute design produces a smooth, chatter-free finish on softer and harder materials alike. This countersink does not include a pilot and is not a head-only component.
This tool is used in machine shop, fabrication, and field maintenance applications where consistent countersink geometry is required. Its zero-flute profile makes it effective across a broad material range including aluminum, brass, mild steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron, high-tensile steel, high-nickel steel, Monel, magnesium, magnesium alloy, and plastic. Right-hand cutting direction suits standard CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held power tools. It is appropriate for both production runs and single-piece work where surface finish at the countersink is critical.

This countersink is typically installed and operated by machinists, tool and die makers, or maintenance technicians. Before mounting, ensure the machine spindle is fully de-energized and locked out per standard lockout/tagout procedures. Secure the straight shank fully in the chuck or collet to the recommended engagement depth for the holder type in use. Do not exceed the recommended feed rate or spindle speed for the workpiece material to avoid tool damage or poor surface finish.
