The M.A. FORD 60050003A is a single-flute solid carbide countersink designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations in metal and non-metal workpieces. The tool features a 90-degree included angle and a 1/2-inch head diameter, making it well-suited for producing clean, consistent countersunk seat profiles in a wide range of materials. The straight cylindrical shank measures 1/4 inch in diameter and is constructed from high speed steel, providing rigid tool holding in standard collet chucks and drill press spindles. Overall length is 2-3/8 inches. The cutting range spans 1/16 inch minimum to 29/64 inch maximum cutting diameter.
This countersink is suited for right-hand cutting operations across a broad spectrum of materials in machine shops, production environments, and field fabrication work. Applicable materials include alloy steel, mild steel, stainless steel, high-tensile steel, high-nickel steel, Monel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, magnesium, magnesium alloy, and plastic. It is appropriate for use in CNC machining centers, manual mills, drill presses, and hand-held drilling applications where a 90-degree chamfer or countersunk fastener seat is required.

Always power down and de-energize the machine before changing or adjusting tooling. Eye protection and appropriate chip management procedures should be observed at all times when operating rotary cutting tools.
