The M.A. FORD 40518750 is a solid carbide combination drill and countersink designed for precision countersinking and drilling in a single operation. Built to Series 405 standards, it features a 7/16-inch body diameter, a 3/16-inch drill point diameter, and a 60-degree included angle that produces clean, consistent countersunk seats. The bright polished finish reduces friction and aids chip evacuation. At 5 inches overall length, this is a long-length tool suited for applications requiring extended reach. Right-hand cut geometry and a plain cutting edge style make it compatible with standard drill press and CNC setups. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and fabrication shops are the primary users.
This combo drill countersink is rated for use in demanding workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, hardened steel, cast iron, and special alloys.
