The M.A. FORD. 30613600 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in electronics manufacturing, PCB fabrication, and related machining operations. Built to wire size 29, the bit has a decimal diameter of 0.1360 inches (3.45 mm) with a 1/8-inch (0.1250 inches) shank diameter. The 165-degree point angle and fast spiral flute geometry are optimized for clean, accurate entry and chip evacuation in demanding materials. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers the rigidity and hardness needed for consistent hole quality across high-cycle production environments. A licensed machinist or tool-and-die technician is the typical installer.
This drill bit is suited for drilling cast iron, stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel, high-temperature alloys, and titanium, as well as non-ferrous metals and hard materials. The fast spiral and tapered web configuration support efficient chip clearance in deep or tight-tolerance holes typical of circuit board and precision component applications. At 1.5 inches overall length with a 0.4800-inch flute length, it fits standard CNC drill presses, PCB drilling machines, and benchtop drill fixtures used in light manufacturing and prototyping environments.

Install in a compatible 1/8-inch collet or drill chuck and verify runout before production drilling. Secure workpieces firmly to prevent walking on entry; use a backing board when drilling circuit board laminates to minimize exit burr. Do not exceed the rated speed and feed range for the workpiece material and drill diameter. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear regularly, as solid carbide is brittle and sensitive to lateral loading.
