The M.A. FORD. 2XDCR3425A is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding metalworking applications. It features an 8.70 mm (0.3425 inch) diameter, a 142-degree point angle optimized for self-centering and reduced thrust, and an ALtima aluminum titanium nitride (AlTiN) coating that extends tool life under high heat and abrasion. Overall length is 103.00 mm (4.0551 inches) with a 55.00 mm (2.1654 inch) flute length. The straight cylindrical shank measures 10 mm (0.3937 inches) in diameter. This bit is installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual milling applications.
This jobber drill is intended for cutting steel, stainless steel, and high-temperature alloys - workpiece material codes H, M, and S. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and coolant-through design make it well suited for deep-hole drilling operations where chip evacuation and thermal management are critical. It is a right-hand cutting, regular spiral flute configuration from the M.A. FORD. Series 2XDCR line, built to DIN 6537 K standards and manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certified processes.

Use the recommended coolant flow rate for coolant-through applications and avoid dry-running this drill in hard alloys, as heat buildup will shorten tool life.
