The M.A. FORD 23112500B is a diamond pattern router bit burr designed for material removal and surface finishing on non-ferrous metals. Built from solid carbide with a bright, uncoated finish, this burr delivers consistent cutting performance in rotary tool and router applications. It features a 0.125 inch cutter diameter, a 0.5 inch length of cut, and a 1 inch shank length, making it well-suited for detail work, deburring, and profiling in tight spaces. The 1.5 inch overall length keeps the tool compact for controlled hand or machine use. Machinists, tool and die technicians, and fabricators working with aluminum, brass, copper, and similar non-ferrous materials are the primary users of this style of burr.
This router bit burr is intended for use on non-ferrous metal workpieces, including aluminum, copper, brass, and other soft or medium-hardness materials where solid carbide geometry and a diamond pattern provide effective chip clearance and surface contact. It is packaged as a single unit and fits standard 1/8 inch collet systems found on rotary tools, die grinders, and CNC router spindles used in light fabrication and machine shop environments. The Series 231B designation places this tool within M.A. FORD's line of carbide burr tooling.
Designed for use on non-ferrous metal workpieces. Fits any rotary tool, die grinder, or CNC spindle equipped with a 1/8 inch collet. Part of the M.A. FORD Series 231B carbide burr line.
Installation and use of carbide burrs should be performed by qualified machinists or fabricators familiar with rotary cutting tools. Before mounting, ensure the tool holder or collet is fully de-energized and the spindle is at a complete stop. Secure the 1/8 inch shank fully into the collet and tighten to the tool holder manufacturer's specified torque range. Always wear appropriate eye protection and follow applicable shop safety standards when operating rotary burr tooling at speed.
