The M.A. FORD 20439700 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit sized to Letter X (0.3970 inches) with a 118-degree, 4-facet point geometry. Manufactured in Series 204, it features a bright/uncoated finish, a straight cylindrical shank, and a regular spiral flute configuration. The 4-facet point reduces walking at entry and improves chip evacuation compared to standard conical geometry. With an overall length of 4.5 inches and a flute length of 2.875 inches, this drill is sized for general-purpose production and maintenance drilling in metal fabrication, machining, and mechanical assembly environments.

This bit is engineered for drilling steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous materials.
