The M.A. FORD 20018900 is a solid carbide, straight-flute die drill bit engineered for precision holemaking in demanding machining applications. It carries a 0.1890-inch diameter (Wire Size 12, 4.80 mm) with a 135-degree split point that reduces walking and lowers thrust force at entry. The uncoated carbide construction delivers consistent edge integrity across high-hardness workpiece materials. Overall length is 2 inches with a 0.625-inch flute length and a 1.375-inch shank. Diameter tolerance is held to +0.0000 to -0.0005 inches, making this bit suitable for close-tolerance die and mold work. Two right-hand cutting flutes handle chip evacuation in the short-flute geometry typical of die drilling operations.
