Built to Series 177 specifications, it features a 12 mm cutting diameter, a 2.5 mm corner radius, and a variable helix flute geometry that reduces chatter and improves surface finish. The AlTiN-based PVD coating (M.A. FORD. proprietary designation: ALtima) extends tool life in high-heat, abrasive cutting environments.
