With a 5 mm cutting diameter and a 13 mm length of cut, this single-end tool operates on a 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank and measures 57 mm in overall length. The four-flute geometry combined with a variable helix and variable index design reduces chatter and harmonics during high-speed cutting passes. The micrograin carbide substrate supports edge sharpness retention at elevated cutting temperatures, and the TiAlN coating adds oxidation resistance for dry and semi-dry machining environments.
