The M.A. FORD. 16912500R.020 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. It features a 1/8-inch diameter, a 0.02-inch corner radius, and three flutes arranged in a right-hand spiral with a 30-degree medium helix. The single-end, centercutting design allows plunge entry and full-profile finishing in a single setup. With an overall length of 1.5 inches and a 1/4-inch length of cut, this short-length tool is optimized for rigidity and accuracy. It suits machinists and toolroom operators running CNC mills or manual vertical mills where corner blending and edge integrity are critical.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the toolholder collet and torque to the toolholder manufacturer specification before running. Verify runout with a dial indicator after clamping, as excessive runout on a small-diameter carbide end mill can lead to premature breakage.
