The M.A. FORD. 16909370R.007 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precise material removal in demanding machining applications. With a 0.0937 inch (3/32 inch) mill diameter, a 0.007 inch corner radius, and three right-hand spiral flutes, this single-end tool delivers both roughing and finishing capability in one pass. The bright, uncoated carbide construction resists wear across a wide range of workpiece materials. Center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as conventional milling paths. With a 1.5 inch overall length and a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank, this short-series end mill fits standard collet toolholders without extended reach adapters.
This end mill is suited for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It is part of the M.A. FORD. Series 169 lineup and targets applications where a controlled corner radius is required to reduce stress concentrations at inside corners or to match a specified fillet geometry. Typical installation scenarios include CNC milling centers and manual knee mills using standard collet or end mill toolholders. The 0.007 inch radius makes it especially useful in tight-tolerance die, mold, and precision component work where sharp inside corners are not permissible.
Designed for use with standard collet-style toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank. Compatible with workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Confirm spindle is fully stopped and machine is in a safe state before loading or removing the tool from the toolholder. Secure the 1/8 inch shank fully within the collet bore to the recommended gauge-line depth per the toolholder manufacturer before torquing the collet nut. At this diameter, runout control is critical - verify total indicator runout at the cutting edge before beginning a production cycle.
