Product Description

The M.A. FORD 13875009R.125 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for precision milling of non-ferrous metals. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 1/8 inch (0.1250 inch) corner radius, and a 3-flute right-hand spiral geometry designed to handle both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. With a long-series reach of 3.25 inches and a 6 inch overall length, it is suited for deep-pocket and extended-reach applications where rigidity and surface finish must be maintained. The bright/uncoated finish makes it ideal for aluminum, copper, brass, and similar non-ferrous workpiece materials where coating buildup is a concern.

This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills running non-ferrous metals in production and job-shop environments. Its centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole. The straight-cylindrical shank mounts directly into standard toolholders. The normal pitch and medium helix design provide a balance of chip evacuation and cutting stability suited to aluminum and other gummy non-ferrous alloys.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by machinists or tooling technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer is disabled before mounting or removing the end mill. Seat the straight-cylindrical shank fully in the toolholder and tighten to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, as excessive runout will accelerate carbide wear and degrade corner radius accuracy.
