The M.A. FORD. 13575001N is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in non-ferrous metal machining applications. Built on the Series 135N platform, this single-end, centercutting tool features a 3/4-inch diameter, a 0.03-inch corner radius, and a 30-degree helix angle. With 2 flutes and a coarse pitch spiral geometry, it handles both roughing and finishing operations in a single setup. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well-suited for aluminum, copper, brass, and other non-ferrous materials where coating adhesion can be counterproductive. Machining professionals and toolroom specialists are the primary users of this end mill.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where a straight-cylindrical shank toolholder is employed. The 1-inch length of cut and 5-inch overall length provide extended reach capability, with a reach length of 2.875 inches from the toolholder face. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction are standard for conventional CNC spindle setups. The primary workpiece material designation is non-ferrous metal (material code N), making it a targeted selection for aluminum alloy, brass, and similar materials common in aerospace, automotive, and general machining work.
Designed for use with straight-cylindrical shank toolholders. Primary workpiece material is non-ferrous metal (material code N). This tool is part of M.A. FORD. Series 135N and is compatible with standard CNC toolholding systems accepting a 3/4-inch straight-cylindrical shank with h6 shank diameter tolerance.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a safe, locked-out state. Ensure the toolholder bore is clean and within tolerance before seating the shank; contamination or wear in the holder can induce runout that damages the cutting edge. Do not exceed the manufacturer-recommended axial and radial depth-of-cut parameters for the workpiece material and machine setup. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool; direct external coolant or mist lubrication at the cutting zone when machining non-ferrous materials to manage heat and chip evacuation.
