The bright, uncoated micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and edge retention when cutting aluminum, copper, brass, and similar materials. At 3 inches overall length with a 1/2 inch length of cut, it fits standard toolholders with a 3/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank. This is a centercutting, single-end tool suitable for both roughing and finishing passes.
