The M.A. FORD 12150000 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in a wide range of metalworking applications. It features a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 3 inch overall length with a straight cylindrical 1/2 inch shank. Constructed from micrograin solid carbide, the tool delivers tight dimensional accuracy with a mill diameter tolerance of +0.000/-0.003 inches. The 30-degree helix spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting performance. This is a right-hand cut, right-hand flute, centercutting tool, meaning it can plunge directly into the workpiece. It carries no coating and is supplied as a single end mill in Series 121 regular length configuration.
This end mill is suited for milling operations across a broad spectrum of workpiece materials, including cast iron, non-ferrous metals, steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant superalloys, and other materials classified under primary material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S.
