The M.A. FORD. 11607810R.010 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining environments. With a 0.0781 inch (5/64 inch) cutting diameter and a 0.01 inch corner radius, this tool produces controlled edge breaks and blended transitions while maintaining tight tolerances. The three-flute, right-hand spiral geometry supports both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup. A 30-degree medium helix promotes chip evacuation and stable cutting action. The bright uncoated finish makes this tool a straightforward choice for applications where coating interaction with the workpiece material is a concern. This end mill is suited for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The 0.1875 inch (3/16 inch) length of cut and 1.5 inch overall length make it well matched to shallow-pocket, slot, and contour operations on CNC machining centers and manual mills. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, expanding the range of operations this tool can perform without a pre-drilled entry point. It fits standard 1/8 inch shank toolholders and collet chucks.
Designed for use with standard straight-cylindrical toolholders and collet chucks accepting a 1/8 inch shank. Compatible with machining operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials per Series 116 application ratings.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians using appropriate collet chucks or end mill holders rated for the 1/8 inch shank diameter. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Verify runout and tool projection before initiating a cut, as small-diameter carbide end mills are sensitive to setup errors. Follow applicable shop safety standards and machine manufacturer guidelines for tool holding torque and speed-feed parameters.
