The M.A. FORD. 11175003 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal and finishing in demanding machining environments. Built to Series 111 standards, it features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 0.03 inch corner radius, and four right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle. The bright, uncoated micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and edge retention across a wide range of workpiece materials. Single-end and centercutting geometry allows for plunge entry and full-slot cutting. Licensed machinists and CNC tool-and-die professionals are the primary users of this end mill in production and job-shop settings.
This end mill is suited for both roughing and finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The 1-1/2 inch length of cut and 4 inch overall length make it appropriate for moderate-depth pocketing, profiling, and contouring applications in vertical and horizontal machining centers. The straight-cylindrical shank with 3/4 inch diameter seats directly into standard collets and end mill holders without additional adaptation.
Designed for use with standard end mill toolholders and collet chucks accepting a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Rated for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials per M.A. FORD. Series 111 material application codes P, M, K, N, S, and H.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before mounting or removing the end mill. Ensure the shank is fully seated and properly torqued in the toolholder to the machine manufacturer's specification before operation. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, and never exceed the rated depth of cut or feed rate for the workpiece material.
