The M.A. FORD. 11150000T is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision metal removal in milling applications. Built from micrograin carbide and finished with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating, this tool delivers extended wear life in demanding cutting conditions. It features a 0.5 inch cutting diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 3 inch overall length with a 0.5 inch straight-cylindrical shank. The 30-degree helical flute geometry and four-flute configuration promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers and users of this tooling.
This end mill is suited for a broad range of milling operations including slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling. The Series 111 standard-length design is appropriate for general-purpose machining setups. The TiN coating and micrograin carbide substrate make it compatible with workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S, covering a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and cast materials. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry, and features right-hand cut with right-hand flute direction.
Compatible with workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S per supplier designation, covering applications in ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and similar materials. Designed as an OEM-style Series 111 standard-length solid carbide end mill for use in CNC and conventional milling machines accepting a 0.5 inch straight shank.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with CNC or manual milling equipment. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing tooling. Ensure the tool holder bore and collet are clean and free of debris before seating the shank to the proper engagement depth. Do not exceed the manufacturer-rated feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material being machined.
