The M.A. FORD. 11112511 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 1/8 inch diameter, a 0.015 inch corner radius, and a 4-flute single-end configuration with a 30-degree helix angle. The bright, uncoated micrograin carbide construction suits a wide range of workpiece materials while maintaining sharp cutting edges. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry, giving machinists greater versatility during toolpath execution. This tool is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills by skilled machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
The 11112511 is suited for both roughing and finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. With a 3/8 inch length of cut and a 1-1/2 inch overall length, it fits tight-clearance applications where reach and rigidity are both critical. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard for conventional CNC toolholder setups. This end mill is part of M.A. FORD. Series 111, a catalog line built around general-purpose solid carbide geometries for production machining environments.
Designed for use with standard collet-style toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank. Fits CNC machining centers and manual milling machines configured for right-hand cutting tools. Part of M.A. FORD. Series 111.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or removing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder and torque the retention mechanism according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, as runout beyond acceptable limits will accelerate tool wear and degrade corner radius accuracy.
