The M.A. FORD 11110930T is a square-end, single-end solid carbide end mill designed for precision metal removal in CNC machining and manual milling operations. It features a 0.1093-inch (7/64-inch) cutting diameter, a 0.375-inch length of cut, and a 30-degree right-hand spiral helix. The micrograin carbide substrate is finished with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating, which increases surface hardness and extends tool life in abrasive or high-speed cuts. With four flutes and a straight cylindrical shank, this tool is suited for finish milling, slotting, and light profiling passes in a wide range of workpiece materials. Machinists, tool-and-die professionals, and precision shop technicians are the primary installers.
This end mill is rated for use across multiple material categories per its workpiece material codes: hardened steels, cast irons, stainless and heat-resistant alloys, non-ferrous metals, long-chipping steels, and superalloys. The small diameter and standard-length profile make it well suited for detail work, tight pockets, and small-part machining on both vertical machining centers and manual knee mills. The 0.125-inch (1/8-inch) straight shank seats in standard ER or end mill collets without adapters in most setups.
Designed for use with workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S, covering hardened materials, cast irons, stainless steels, non-ferrous metals, plain and alloy steels, and superalloys. Part of M.A. FORD Series 111. Fits standard 1/8-inch straight-shank collet holders.
Install and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine in a full stop, spindle locked, and power isolated per shop lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the shank fully in the collet and torque the collet nut to the holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before the first cut, especially given the close diameter tolerances on this tool. Do not exceed the recommended axial and radial depth of cut for the diameter and material combination.
