The LYNN ELECTRONICS D-L2L2-3R2-001M is an LC to LC OM3 duplex fiber optic patch cable measuring 1 meter in length. It provides a balanced, two-strand connection between active equipment and patch panels or switches in structured cabling environments. OM3 multimode fiber supports high-bandwidth applications including 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short runs. The duplex configuration carries simultaneous transmit and receive signals over separate fibers. Network technicians and low-voltage cabling contractors typically specify this cable for data center, telecommunications room, and enterprise LAN installations.
This patch cable is suited for indoor fiber runs where OM3 multimode glass is the installed plant standard. Typical applications include connecting SFP transceivers to fiber patch panels, linking switches in a server room, or making short cross-connect jumps in a telecommunications room. The 1-meter length works well for within-rack or rack-to-rack connections in high-density environments. It ships as a single unit and is ready to install without field termination.
Designed as a standard OM3 duplex LC patch cable for use with LC-port SFP and SFP+ transceivers, fiber patch panels, and network switches that use LC multimode interfaces.
Installation is performed by low-voltage cabling technicians or network technicians. Before connecting, confirm that both end devices are powered down or that the fiber ports are disabled to avoid eye-hazard exposure from active laser sources. Inspect LC ferrules for contamination and clean with an appropriate fiber optic cleaning tool before mating. Follow TIA-568 and applicable local cabling standards for patch cord routing and bend-radius requirements.
